The Commercial Development webpage displays the asests of the Property Development and Investment Property Divisions of Melcor Developments Ltd.
The mandate of the Property Development Division is to develop high quality retail, office and industrial revenue-producing properties to create asset appreciation and deliver stable long-term returns. This Division acquires commercial sites from the Community Development Division and develops those sites into revenue-producing properties, often working hand-in-hand with major retailers to assist in large commercial land sales on behalf of the Community Development Division. Once the development and initial leasing is completed, these assets are transferred to the Investment Property Division where they are held and managed.
The Investment Property Division specializes in the acquisition, development, management and leasing of commercial real estate. Their growing asset portfolio currently includes over 2 million square feet in seven asset classes over six geographic regions- Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Kelowna, Regina and Phoenix. This Division is committed to building long-term relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders, and strives to maximize the value in assets and value in experience as measure by its customers.
