A community with vision

Significant investment and planning has gone into the Larch Park community. Planted boulevard islands, a construction waste recovery program, LED streetlights, bioswales and a community garden with a fruit tree grove accentuate the commitment that has been made to the environment.

Larch Park Habitat

The Whitemud Creek Ravine is a place of intimate beauty. Of special interest is the elevated Oxbow, a remnant of the earlier river that once sat higher than the creek. It is fed by spring flooding and underground water.

In partnership with the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton and Area Land Trust, we’ve protected the Oxbow lands as Environmental Reserve.
