Melcor CEO Celebrates Milestone Birthday

Melcor CEO, Darin Rayburn, is celebrating his 50th birthday in a milestone year that mirrors Melcor’s 50th anniversary as a publicly traded company. The momentous birthday also falls in the same year as Melcor’s 95th year in business and Melcor REIT’s 5th – which came to be with Rayburn at the helm.

Darin is now President and CEO of Melcor Developments Ltd. and has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate management. Darin joined Melcor in 2002 to grow the company’s commercial property assets in western Canada and the United States. Darin was promoted to Executive Vice President of Melcor in 2011 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Melcor REIT when it was formed in 2013. He became President and CEO of Melcor in 2017. Darin holds an honors undergraduate degree in economics and political science from the University of Alberta.
